Nov. 30th, Prompt 12

Well dirty girlz, more new news!! The Design Team search is going well, which means tough decisions for me! So far, I can tell you, I'm not loving the idea that I'll have to choose only three gals soon. Don't feel TOO sorry for me, though. I want you to keep the entries coming!!
Let's get right down to it!! I'm really REALLY excited to share our first honorary gutter girl with you!! Linda Woods, one of the women that showed me the way to the gutter, has created a project with our prompt!! Linda, along with her sister Karen Dinino, are authors of two amazing books about creating and being art. Visual Chronicles, and my personal favorite, Journal Revolution. You can also see and purchase more of Linda's art in her etsy shop.
The PROMPT:
Favorite Four Letter Word
The SONG:
Wendy's Song (from south park)
The TECHNIQUE/PRODUCT:
Red

Here's Linda's page:

Linda sent this along with her project!
"My favorite four letter word is rarely used around women on a diet but is the thing I want after a day filled with words usually reserved for stereotypical sailors and truck drivers. I have no fear of using four letter words and do often! Yet, I find it funny that here in Los Angeles (where a loaf of white bread is hard to find), many women do not shudder at the words fuck or shit but if you so much as mumble cake, a room goes silent.
Cake is my cure for a totally fucked up day and my favorite four letter word. I created this piece with techniques from Journal Revolution. I started with a piece of watercolor paper and used concentrated watercolors, black ink, pencil, water, and charcoal. The dripping colors and pencil scratches represent all the chaos that happens in my day. The red circles represent the layers of the cake." ~Linda Woods

Everyone did a great job with the prompt. Linda's book is great, but I love her even more now that I know we have something in common - we both hate facebook, LOL... No offense to any facebook lovers out there. I even have a facebook page. I just like blogs better. They are way more personal, I think...
