This Month's Guest Gutter Girl!

Howdy ho, dirty girlz! It's Christi again, coming to you LIVE (okay, there may be a slight delay for the censors) from Gutter Central to introduce to you our amazing new designer for the month, Paula! *cheers* Since Paula went above and beyond the call of duty and made EIGHT awesome art journal pages inspired by this month's song lyrics, we wanted to give her a post all her own! Thank you, Paula!! Can't wait to see those pages, but we'd love to know a little about you first!

My name is Paula, aka Journal Artista. I live near Toronto, Canada and I have been a scrapbooker for over a decade. I recently fell in love with Art Journaling. It is a way for me to release my anxiety and emotions, as well as use all those hoarded, too special to use, scrap supplies. Art Journaling has enabled me to combine all my passions; scrapbooking, stamping and mixed media. I enjoy incorporating the old with the new, I'm on a crusade to bring retro back... scrap supplies that is!
This prompts song really touched me, I hadn't heard it until now. It embodies where I am at this point in my life, struggling with unfairness and uncertainty, so all of my pages are focused around it. I really enjoyed playing this month, thanks to the GutterGirlz team for inviting me! It was definately a challenge and I feel like I have grown because of it. See more of my work (and real journaling) at http://www.messymindcreativesoul.blogspot.com, and in the upcomping July issue of Art Journaling by Stampington & Co. Much Love!
